Product: 1894953479 If you made the Monty Python crew work in an office and left a copy of the Necronomicon in the bathroom for breaktime reading, you’d wind up with this book. These stories occupy a delightful cross-genre place between humor, horror, technology, and business. The author has obviously read too many tech manuals and too many business books, and been driven mad by them. But fortunately it’s one of the good kinds of madness, not something scary like a CEO.

Product: 151182607X Author Ray Yao delivers again. As I attempted to learn Linux, I just wanted to learn how to use it. I have limited time to learn and this book gave me what I needed in a short span of time. The glossary helped because I am new to Linux. As a beginner the guide helped me to learn the necessary commands. Programming is not an easy subject to grasp but Yao helped me comprehend the essential Linux commands.

Product: 0130206016 This had a bit more personality then the other Unix books. Drink a lot of coffee when you study any flavor of ‘Nix-it’s very dull. Product: Linux for Beginners: An Introduction to the Linux Operating System and Command Line For quite a long time I’ve been using some other operation systems. Then one day I got one of these horrible errors and needed to fix it somehow and make my computer start. Fortunately, there’s Linux but quite soon I found out I had no idea how to deal with this. Everything seemed so different. With a few clicks I found this book and am now thankful because it has some pretty good tips.

Product: LINUX: The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide! One main advantage of open-source technologies such as Linux is the wide range of options available to users and the increased security. I think this is a good operating system to use. This book gives every beginner of this OS the basics of it. Also it introduces some of it’s advanced features which are very useful. I appreciate that there are screenshots of the commands which makes it easier to learn.
