Product: The Linux Command Line: A Complete Introduction This book and a used edition of Understanding the Linux Kernel renders the cheapest, well rounded introduction to Linux as possible. The Linux Command Line demonstrates how to drive and Understanding the Linux Kernel explains how the engine works. Learn some C and the rest is just filling in the cracks between the two. Linux seems to be the future direction that will be taken and is well worth the time to learn.

Product: 0071771573 One of the best written Information Technology books I have read in a while. Use in conjunction with other training materials for the CompTIA / LPIC Exams. Update: Make sure to use a far more in-depth Linux administration Book for the LX0-102 Exam. This book is pretty good for LX0-101 but hardly scratches the surface of the LX0-102 Exam Objectives.
