Simply put, this is a solid primer for someone who is unfamiliar with Ubuntu or other Debian based distros, and perhaps for someone who has never used Linux. It is well written, comfortably sized in terms of content, and is fairly well organized. Probably not a book for the Linux expert, but for the rest of us, it is a nice addition to the technical library.
