I never knew how to use Linux, I am not that good with computers to bother with it. But, I am listening to praises and recommendations all the time and I might even try it.
I got a good grasp on what it is and how to use it from this book. The author goes from the very beginning, explaining everything in a simple manner. I can see that those are all basics so anyone familiar with Linux won’t get much out of it, but for me it is good.
The thing I didn’t like is the formatting. Something happened with it and sometimes on the beginning of the line there is half of first letter missing, like it is cut off. Nothing major, you can still read it without any problems, but authors should pay attention to stuff like that.
