The first eight chapters of ths book basically are just an introduction to Python. They have nothing to do with the Raspberry Pi, any Linux system would do. If the book had just chapters 9, 10, 11 and brief chapters on readily available Python on Linux, and maybe chapter 12, it would have been a better book at half the price. Even better, maybe more RPi Python?
