History come to life with characters that made me want to know them more as well as delight in the story that reveals the depth and power of the scriptures. The recognition of characters is exciting when you realize who they are from study of the scriptures and you begin to realize things that are happening and will happen. The story certainly does not go where you may guess, which makes the read difficult to put down. The contrast between Rome, the Sanhedrin and The Way fascinated me. Being able to imagine the life of Linux was perhaps my favorite part.
