I got this book out of sheer curiosity. I use and own a Mac, and honestly I view the Linux OS as somewhat ancient. I didn’t expect it to be as modern and as technologically competitive as Windows or my OS X and reading this guide was an educational experience for me. Its way different from what I am used to but interesting. Author compiled some well-researched information, and overall Id say this was a decent guide for this Linux rookie.
