Product: How Linux Works

The books provides a readable, well structured and comprehensive introduction to Linux systems but it is not a book for developers and doesn’t reveal internal implementation details.
It is more of an overview from a system administrator point of view.

As noted in other reviews the content is very basic.
There is no attempt (and no space) to provide detailed discussions of the arguments treated.

With respect to other (older) books it has the advantage to cover recent additions to Linux.
Newbies can use it as a starting point to approach the Linux ecosystem.
