The thing that I really liked about Beginners Crash Course is that it really is for beginners. Most of the books are always one step ahead of the real beginner, but this is not the case here. This book assumes that you have absolutely no Linux knowledge and it actually starts by walking you through the steps of getting an account. So you’re really starting at the beginning. This book is a well written and is easy to follow - it explains everything clearly. If you have any experience using Windows or Mac you’ll be able to learn the system with the help of this author.
