Product: The Linux Command Line: A Complete Introduction
Linux is vast, and the solutions varied. What is great about this Linux intro book is that the author provides many useful examples. Types of problems that arise regularly, and he outlines the options that are most useful. What is needed is some one like Shotts to hone in on the most relavant use cases, and from there each individual can branch out from this base.
I have just begun reading the RegEx chapter, and a world has opened to me. For too long I have been unmotivated to push through the some what opague descriptions of RegEx. Mr. Shotts describes the purpose of the expressions in plain-clear english, and the examples fix the concepts in the mind. Mr. Shotts has helped me greatly. Thank you.
