I came into using Linux very reluctantly as a data logger custom build for me uses this. Having had a lot of earlier experience with DOS I have found it quite a breeze to understand and use. The job names are anything but intuitive but their function is quite clear.
I ended up buying both the Kindle and hardcopy versions, so that I could have access while working as well as something to browse when away from my PC. I recommend both.
