The author either doesnt understand what DevOps means or he is intentionally using the term to sell this book. This book has NOTHING to do with DevOps. I am surprised to see so many positive reviews on this book and this is why I initially purchased the book.

The book discusses some tips on Linuxs administrative operations. The book is very thin and does not go into any level of detail. It reads more like a blog printed in a book form.

For anyone buying this book because of DevOps, do not be fooled by its title. It is shameful that some new authors would use catchy titles to sell books. The author has no background in DevOps. The other books he has written are all on Linux operations.

If this book was titled appropriately as a Linux Administration Tips and Tricks or something along those lines, I would have given it more stars but it does not deserve more than one star because of its deceptive title.

The book is also priced so high suggesting that the value it delivers was worth it. For a thin blog-like book such as this one, any price more than $10 is not justified. Do not waste your hard-earned money.
